  4. The WORDY system is being distributed for entertainment purposes only.  Every 
  5. effort  has been made  to keep the word lists current and accurate,   but the 
  6. author can assume no legal responsibility for any damages, direct or indirect 
  7. in case of error.

  9. In other words, this is for you to have fun with and to sharpen your wordplay 
  10. skills with.    Please do not sue me if your expectations are not met by this 
  11. package.  WORDY demonstrates that it is possible to get quality software at a
  12. modest price ($2.00!), but remember, I do not have a team of programmers  and
  13. proofreaders available to check my work. Please do not hesitate to report any
  14. errors or inconsistencies.

  16. The word lists  included with WORDY are not transcriptions or copies by mech- 
  17. anical or other means from the OSPD (tm). For legal reasons, these word lists
  18. cannot be and are not identical to the OSPD (tm).    Users of WORDY are urged 
  19. to purchase their own copy of the OSPD (tm)  to accompany their Scrabble (tm)
  20. (tm) board.     WORDY is intended to *enhance* enjoyment of Scrabble (tm) and 
  21. similar word games, as it certainly cannot replace the OSPD (tm).

  23. The author believes the master word list in WORDY,   WORD.LST,   to be nearly 
  24. "error free". Nevertheless, no responsibility or liability can be assumed for 
  25. any errors, if present.

  27. No responsibility can be taken for "bugs" in the software.  ALL complex com-
  28. puter programs contains bugs and errors.    As a software author / computer
  29. programmer, I am constantly at work testing and fixing my software. All the 
  30. same it is the responsibility of you, the users of my software, to be aware 
  31. that my programs and data files are not "perfect", and may possibly produce 
  32. erroneous results. I *will* stand behind my software, however, and will fix 
  33. any errors as I find them or as they are reported to me. I make a strenuous 
  34. effort to send out updated software as necessary.
